URise Youth

Learn More
A space for youth to understand addiction, mental health, build skills, and support their well-being.

What is URise?

URise is a youth-focused program designed to help young people better understand addiction, recovery, and their own well-being.

Whether addiction is something they’re experiencing directly or within their family or environment, URise offers a space to learn, connect, and build practical life skills.

It’s a space to:

  • make sense of what’s going on
  • learn how to take care of yourself
  • build confidence and resilience
  • connect with others who get it

You don’t need to have everything figured out to come.

What We Do in Sessions

URise sessions are interactive and focused on helping youth understand what they’re dealing with and what can help.

Topics may include:

  • how the brain responds to stress and substance use
  • what recovery and well-being can look like
  • understanding emotions and how to manage them
  • communicating needs
  • building healthy relationships
  • setting boundaries and staying safe
We focus on real-life skills youth can use in their day-to-day lives.

Journeys of Hope

As our Red Deer Family Recovery Group approaches 1 year (April 1st start date) please know how many lives you have impacted and gave hope to in our very hard journeys.  Our facilitators are wonderful and PEP has truly saved my life and helped others - mother of a son on journey.
With PEP I learned that I needed to take care of myself and that it was ok to love me again.
I encourage others to reach out sooner. You are not alone and with the support of others and the knowledge you gain through PEP's Family Recovery Group, healing can begin.  You can find yourself again.

The greatest thing that PEP Family Recovery Group brings to my life is the feeling that I am not alone. Hearing others stories while crying and laughing together is my safe place to find healing.
