Role Overview:

  • Position: Family Recovery Facilitator

  • Schedule: Part-time, evening shifts on a weekly or bi-weekly basis.

  • Environment: Both virtual and in-person meetings.

  • Locations: In-person meetings are held in Sherwood Park, St. Albert, and South Edmonton, as well as virtual meetings.

  • Additional Commitments: Participate in team meetings every two months (during the evenings or Saturday mornings) and engage in periodic project work. Be prepared to cover additional shifts as needed.


What You'll Do:

  • Create and deliver tailored educational content

  • Facilitate positive group dynamics

  • Collaborate with a dedicated team

  • Engage and support participants

  • Contribute to continuous team improvement

  • Document and report progress


What You Bring:

  • Experience: 2-5 years minimum in group facilitation, addiction recovery, and working with families.

  • Knowledge: Understanding of addiction and its impact on families, familiarity with family systems.

  • Skills: Exceptional group facilitation skills, adaptability to varying group dynamics, and technical proficiency for virtual meetings.

  • Attributes: Compassionate, creative, team-oriented, and driven by a growth mindset.
