Audrey Holliday (Parent)
Parent of a teenage son who is recovering from a crystal meth addiction. Audrey was an active member of the provincial Meth Partnership Strategy Council based out of the Solicitor General’s office and sat on the Strathcona Drug & Alcohol Strategy Committee. Audrey is active in advocating for supports for both the family and the drug abuser. She speaks publicly in and outside of Alberta. She has relocated to Calgary but continues to actively promote PEP Society.
Tina Dow (Probation Officer)
Over 30 years of experience as a Probation Officer for community corrections in Strathcona County, dealing with youth involved in criminal behavior, often as a result of drug/alcohol addiction.
Maralyn Benay (Family Support Worker)
Maralyn Benay brings her years of experience as a front line worker working with families where an addiction or violence is front and centre. She continues to work for PEP in both a facilitating and leadership role. She is a lifelong learner and educator in group facilitation. She was ordained as a Vocational Deacon in 2012 in the Edmonton Diocese of the Anglican Church of Canada.
PEP was founded in May 2004 as a result of an increasing need for support and direction for families dealing with the effects of substance abuse in youth and adult children.
